"Uninspirational" should probably be read as "Artless" or "Charmless"; Pebbles is utterly terrible at looking cute at humans and getting them to pamper her. The social interaction penalty does not extend to other animals ("abilities...to stir or impress people are at a -3 penalty"). Instead Pebbles has taken to roaming Cambridge and its environs and acting as a hunter; this has lead her into contact with people who believe that black cats are witches' familiars and has for some reason adopted this belief; accordingly, though normally free-roaming she is unwilling to enter consecrated ground and recoils from the sign of the cross and other marks of the divine.
