Background

Edward was one of the first students at the University of Bologna, so he was probably born in 1071. Rolling some dice lets say 28 June, or nominally his first season in Summer of that year.

He was the eldest son of a minor landowner; William of Milton; and went on a Grand Tour at the age of 17. When he got to Bologna he was entranced by the new University and stayed. He was spotted by a Jerbiton magus and became his apprentice after getting his Doctorate.

At that rate he'll be gauntleted in 1113/14 and presented to tribunal in 1116. Not long after his father died and he returned to England to sort out the estate - leaving his brother with the land in Milton and taking the property in Cambridge itself.

He then spent some time at the covenent of Magnantrum before returning to Cambridge in 1166 to found the Schola. Academia believes he is currently the grandson of the original Edward; and even so he is becoming implausibly old.

Since the Oxonian academics left he has, by default, become the head of the faculty of Civil Law.

This is a level 50 ritual, and he has the text. Edward comes out of apprenticeship with a strong desire to teach, and starts working on apprenticeship requirements.
