Guiselle is the last member of a cadet branch of the descendents of Count Eustace of Boulogne (who came over during the Nromal Conquest); but her "land" now consists only of one large house and associated gardens.

Her father was a Mathematicus of Bologna and knew Edward while they were both students in Bologna. After returning to Cambridge and having a daughter he took her as his apprentice and passed on his knowledge.

She supports herself as a Wise One; mostly setting bones and curing poisons. She is incredibly well preserved (LCM -12) but noone is entirely surprised at that because of her well known abilities at the healing arts; and the longevity of her father. Since she is well liked this isn't usually an issue.

Despite not being a member of the Order (although PCs may well assume she is!) she is a member of the Senoior Councol of the Schola.

She teaches the children of the wealthy (and the occasional bright spark) Artes Liberales one season a year; both boys and girls; and if asked thinks the university is stupid not to admit women.
