They're revisable, but only as allowed for by the rules (the
defendant's analysis, a Judge, a Judgment, and possibly a set of
Appellate Judgments can all be added after it's been initially
submitted); we've just always (that I've seen) dropped the /r,
partially because there's practically no need to refer to older
versions, and partially because there's practically no way to remove
information from CFIs anyway.
