You have studied magic and are able to read the traces it leaves behind

Your background has made you especially good at putting people at ease, so you have a real flair for gathering information from witnesses

You've spent a significant amount of time in high tech Shadows and are familiar with a range of technology that might be of use in investigating crimes

In the area of your skill or knowledge you will get extra information and except in the case of a significant stat disparity you're just better at things in this area than anyone who doesn't share your expertise.

Detective (3)

You have been part of Thelbane CSI for years; you know the ropes and you're trusted.

You'll get more leeway to do your own thing, and your hunches will be given weight.

You will also have two unusual skills or knowledges as per Specialist above

Team Lead (5)

You're the boss. You get to pull rank, and this investigation is your baby.

That does, of course, mean that all of the pressure from above will land squarely on your shoulders.

You will have three unusual skills or knowledges as per Specialist above.
