A rangy harlequin tortie, Nemai is fascinated by the novel. Between that and her soft heart, which makes her singularly bad at hunting, she finds covenant life most agreeable. Subsisting mainly on tidbits and stolen scraps, she has become extremely good at getting into and out of human places; she has mastered the arts of doors and latches.
