Background: Greek by birth but adopted and brought up by a Roman Citizen in Athens, Anbrosios was well educated and expected to become a teacher but yearned to feel more like a full citizen. He therefore forsook his expected career as a teacher and joined the legions which he expected to bring him to this place. Although he is not as heavily muscled as most of his peers, he is the best of them as an engineer. In many ways seen as insufferable by his peers but they protect him in fights as they recognise his value and only they are allowed to beat him up.
