It has notes by many hands, some better than others. The main text is notes on brewing potions. This is a summa on Folk Witch Magic Theory but is limited to knowledge of Potion brewing. As a result reading it can, but does not necessarily, inflict the Rarefied Tradition flaw and grant the Concentrated Potions and Expert Potion Brewer virtues (normally this does not occur if read by a non-starting character but the book can be used for insight into developing these). The book includes folk witch initiation scripts for several Folk Witch versions of virtues that grant the following supernatural abilities: * Healing * Animal Healing * Animal Ken * Flight * Shapeshift It also has notes that form tractati on each of these abilities except for healing which is treated in considerably more depth.
