The Bee Globe

The bee globe is an almost-globe of frosty glass, about a palm's width across, with golden images of bees plated onto the surface. The following effects have been enchanted into it:

• Anyone in the same room is treated has having +1 Com for spoken communication, and gets +6 to music-related ability rolls. (Notes of a Delightful Sound ArM 141)
• If the apropriate gestures are incanted over it then it will produce sufficient light to light the room to the level of illumination it usually has during the daytime, or to strong lamp-light, whichever is less. This may be done once per day, and ends at sunset or sunrise.
• Once per day, if the globe is inverted three times, then all spells and effects in the same room, of greater than first magnitude will glow for the duration of one diameter.
• If a suitable arcane connection is placed beneath the globe then it will produce the effect of The Eye of the Sage (ArM 124), holding concentration. The image produced appears centred around the globe, and any real objects within the area affected will be visible only as thin ghosts of their actuality.
• Anyone placing their hand, and that of their target on the globe, and saying 'Reveal them' in Latin will activate a Sight of the True Form (ArM 123) effect of 9th effective magnitude and effective penetration of 60.
