The Statue of Hermes
The statue is a slightly more-than-lifesize statue of Hermes
himself made of some really hard stone. It appears to have been
enchanted with not entirely hermetic magic, on the other
hand. It has the following effects enchanted into it:

      -
If the party casting the aegis ritual walk closely around
it widdershins thrice, with the aegis tokens at its feet then
it will bind itself into the aegis, create arcane connections
to the aegis tokens, and enchant them with a spell that
monitors the wearer's surface thoughts for ones directed at
the statue, and transmits them back to the statue. Not all the
tokens created in the aegis ritual need to be enchanted in
	this way.

      -
The statue permenantly detects all sights and sounds
viewable/hearable looking outwards from the boundrary of the
aegis (if it has been included via the first effect).

      -
	Possibly other effects.
