• Born in Bristol to well off parents. Miriam's father worked in the aeronautics industry and her mother was a teacher.
  
• Bright and precocious, Miriam's parents had high expectations of her, encouraged by her early scholastic achievements.
  
• Miriam decided early that she was interested in law, and worked assiduously towards a career as a lawyer.
  
• She's had occasional relationships, but nothing serious.

  • Miriam has all the skills you'd expect of a successful corporate lawyer; commercial awareness, good people skills, excellent written English, good research skills,  etc. Her notable skills include:
    
    • Advanced maths; a commercial lawyer need a good heads for figures, but Miriam has gone beyond that, as maths is something she enjoys for its own sake.
      
    • Project management; Miriam has several project management qualifications, being PRINCE2 certified as well as having completed the Certified Legal Project Manager program. She has found project management skills invaluable both in the internal running of the firm and for working with corporate clients.
      
• Supposing your ex-partner noticed someone new eyeing you at a party, who then drew them aside and asked them about you. What might they say?
