However, rather than charming and dashing, Kieran is straightlaced and somewhat shy. His usual expression is serious, and he's been accused of having no sense of humour, but that's not actually true; it's just that he doesn't laugh at others' misfortune. He generally wears bronzed leathers embossed with gold that are rather like the bastard offspring of biker leathers and leather armour in appearance. He's always been fond of riding, jousting, hunting and hawking.
An incurable romantic, Kieran has spent the last several years wandering Shadow as a knight-errant. Kieran adores his charming father, but as he's grown older, has begun to find Bleys' tendency to scheme and connive quite hard to deal with. When it comes to the rest of the family, at least half of them are sure that Kieran is entirely an act and that he has some kind of long-term plot, and most of those who don't feel that way would wonder about his parentage if it weren't so clear in his features. The truth, however, is that Kieran is a dreamer who is quite content with his life and who has little desire to change it. In turn, he finds the undercurrents and tensions that are usually present in Amber make him uncomfortable; which is one reason he's been off in Shadow where he could find simpler realities that were more like his daydreams.
His horsemanship and martial skills are well known; that he's learnt some sorcery as his father did is not, though it's not like he's made a secret of it. Attributes

Amber has fallen, there is an enemy of unknown provenance that has taken its gates, and a disease is in its soldiers. The ‘malady’ is transmittable through psychic connection. The Castle is still secure for the moment, it is being held by myself, Random, Vialle and Fiona. Llewella is holding Rebma. All other family members may be contaminated. Meet on Shadow Earth in Trafalgar Square, recover the Jewel of Judgement, get it to Amber so we can use it to heal infected Family and purify the contaminated pattern.
