Probably this is because the setting is exceptionally cool and almost any type of campaign can be run in it - the PCs can be Creation's last line of defense, or its final and UltimateDoom?. Or somewhere in between.
It also seems to make it easy to produce characters who become remarkably attached to players. And don't let go. See Senji's attachment to HouseNellens?. Oh yes, and my nym.
Has a CRPG (well, presumably a CRPG) to come, from Interplay. Actually the OP is of the opinion that the best possible Exalted computer game would be mostly RTS with RPG elements. But I think that's moderately unlikely, unless someone licenses the Rome: Total War engine.
