He found Draco lounging in the common-room.

"What's that?"

"Nothing!"

"Pull the other one, Accio Parchment!"

Draco jumped up, but sat down again as he saw Blaise already reading.

"Mmm, 'Eligible Partners', eh?"

"There aren't that many Purebloods left."

Blaise grinned knowingly, "I'd noticed.  Mostly crossed out I see.
Pansy Parkinson?" 

"I'm more use to her ambitions than she to mine."

"The Patil twins?"

"One's mad, and the other..."

"...is in Gryffindor!" they finished together.

Blaise carried on, seeing the first uncrossed name.

"Susan Bones?"

"Genetically favourable match."

Blaise just looked at his friend.

"Err, she's kind of nice, okay?"
