"Well," Molly began evasively, "it's like this...."

She had gathered Ron and Ginny into the kitchen, telling them that
"there was something they needed to know."

"Well, you know your two older sisters?"

"Emma and Jane, mum," replied Ginny, unsure where this was going.

"You said they'd died during the war," interrupted Ron.

Molly sighed.  "Yes.  What I didn't tell you was, well...."

"Well... it was Jane's first year, and Emma's last.  Emma had taken
her to get her school equipment, and the Aurors caught them in
Knockturn Alley."

"Aurors, mum?"

"Yes," she sobbed, "Emma was on the Other Side."
