Kiall

Kiall is Sebastian's weapon of choice - it is normally to be seen in the form of a large bracelet coiled repeatedly around his right wrist, with the 'head' end appearing to be embedded in the skin of his inside wrist.

From this position, it can uncoil very rapidly, and (if 'drawn' appropriately) end up approximately straight, with the thick part of the body, near the head (still embedded in his wrist) lying across his palm, and functioning as a grip, while the rest straightens and stiffens to form a foil of some sort. This is apparently tough enough to stop an onrushing chaosian.

From this state, Kiall can apparently adopt the shape of any number of swords, along with scabbards. It appears not to be attached to Sebastian's wrist (which appears unblemished) while in these forms. Sebastian appears to be comfortable with this, and the shifting of the weapon appears to be either subconcious or semi-automatic, unlike his own powers - which seem rather new - although they are improving with practice.

Forms seen to date:

• Bracelet, attached to wrist.
• Somewhat thickened form of 'bracelet', wielded as a weapon.
• A heavy rapier.
• A dress rapier.
• A shortsword, which glowed somewhat, and cut through metal very effectively.
• A much smaller bracelet, to fit a kitten's wrist.
• A crossbow, loaded.

Examination of Sebastian's fencing style will suggest that he is quite used to using a weapon which bends around corners well, thereby making some 'impossible' thrusts and parries. More used than he is to his own shapeshifting, in fact - he has recently started incorporating that into his combat style, too. Astute students of body language will have reason to believe he is holding back on his capabilities, skill, or possibly both.
